Overview
A growing electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial projects from estimating through completion. This role requires strong organization, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Support estimating efforts including takeoffs, pricing, and scope review
- Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient execution
- Track project costs, assist with billing and change orders, and monitor labor/material usage
- Review drawings and ensure compliance with applicable codes and project requirements
- Communicate with stakeholders and help resolve issues to keep projects on track
- Promote and support a safe jobsite environment
Qualifications
- Active Master Electrician License in Montana
- 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical project management
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and project lifecycles
- Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and budgets
- Experience with project management or estimating software
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
Preferred
- Journeyman Electrician background
- Experience with large commercial or institutional projects
Work Environment
- Combination of office and active construction site work
- Ability to navigate jobsites and work in varying conditions as needed
